Cheese, such a typical Spanish product, has arrived to the internet, to try to transport its culture and unmistakable flavor to every corner of the globe. The idea comes from a traditional cheese shop and has been carried to the internet in the shape of a virtual shop, online, of Spanish cheese: Quesos.com, which offers home delivery of the largest selection of artesian Spanish cheeses in the whole country. This company, less than two months old, has comprised a catalogue of more than 40 varieties of cheese.
“Our main objective is to spread the word about artesian Spanish cheeses around the world and, through this, to sell and promote it. Also, through this we can avoid the disappearance of certain types of cheese”, Javier Carbajo, Managing Director of the company, comments. “Quesos.com wants to offer, in just one click, the possibility to acquire artesian cheeses from small produces spread out all over Spain, which are of the highest quality (they don’t use industrial processes in their production) and are hard to find. The master cheesemaker is the one who gives his special touch to the cheese”, Carbajo explains, “It is a process which is passed on from father to son over the years.” |
